Facing the Future Confidently

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

Dear Friends,

The amazing Apostle Paul influenced his world in an incredible fashion. In fact, his ministry changed the entire world all the way unto this day, as he was the first missionary to Europe.

You would think that with such a successful ministry he would be some sort of a brilliant, popular, rich person but biblical facts tell us that he faced much opposition and failure in ministry. He was often opposed and hurt and yet, as he told the Philippian church, he faced the future confidently.

How could he do that? He did that out of his unwavering trust in a faithful God. He stood firm on the fact that God had promised to strengthen and energize him no matter what he would face. He believed it when God said He would never leave him or forsake him. Because he took God at His word, he was able to face the future with assurance. He didn’t say that he knew everything would be easy or a piece of cake, but he knew that with God’s presence and provision he could make it.

My dear friend - trust God - face the future with godly confidence knowing that somehow, someway God will come through…He always does.
