Saved to The Uttermost

“Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

Hebrews 7:25

Dear Friends,

Have you sinned since that moment you received Jesus as your personal savior? Of course you have…and so have I! I wish it wasn't true, but the stark reality is, everyone sins – even Christians.

Does that mean then that the Lord will take away our salvation? No, we did nothing to deserve our salvation in the first place and so it is certain we can do nothing to lose it. The author of the book of Hebrews said it this way, "we are saved to the uttermost." If a believer could ever face eternal punishment after salvation that would mean that the payment Jesus made on the cross was insufficient. But Scripture is clear – our sin is paid in full!

It really comes down to this - either Jesus's blood covers ALL of our sins or NONE of our sins, there is no halfway. Hallelujah, we're saved to the uttermost!

Paid in Full,

Dr. Tim Pollock, Senior Pastor
