Looking Forward

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

Dear Friends,

Whether it’s moving on from a past disappointment or past sin, remember that God’s plan for you is not to stay in the past. While we can and should learn from our past as Christians, we must also remember we are a new creation through Christ.

Imagine if Peter or David had never moved on from their past. They would not have gone on to do great things for the Lord.

Letting the past get you down is like carrying too much luggage with you on a trip. Set aside that extra baggage, it will only slow you down on your walk of faith!

It’s been said, “You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.” Let’s turn the page on 2017.

Dear friend, remember what the prophet said as he plead with his troubled people, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:18,19).

Moving on For Christ,

Dr. Tim Pollock, Senior Pastor
