Don’t Throw Away Your Confidence

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.”

Hebrews 10:35

Dear Friends,

Obeying God requires that we not only act different but that we think different. The fundamental message in the book of Hebrews is that we can trust Jesus Christ for our eternal salvation and that knowledge will boost our confidence.

No matter how bad things get, we can trust that what God says in the Bible is true. As we know the Word of God, we will get to know the God of the Word. Obedience will then become easier and we will be able to have confidence that His plans are good.

It’s always a sad moment when we inadvertently throw something away that’s important to us, how much more tragic it would be to lose our confidence in God. The reward of steadfast faith is the confidence to step forward boldly in all that He asks us to do.
