Sharing Confidently

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”

1 Peter 3:15

Dear Friends,

One of the great privileges, as a Christian, is to help another soul find its way to God. All too often, however, we feel inadequate to share our faith. By having a solid footing in the Word of God you will be prepared to give an answer to people who are honestly seeking (as well as a loving reason to those who oppose).

In order to be able to share confidently I believe there are two great necessities:

1. Saturating our minds with the WORD of God

The more we are in God’s Word whether it be through studying, praying the Scriptures or listening to Biblical messages, the more we comprehend the true intent of Scripture. This way our beliefs will not be based on hearsay or culture but on the infallible systematic theology of the Faith (Jude 1:3).

2. Filling our heart with the SPIRIT of God

The Holy Spirit is committed to drawing people to Christ (John 6:44). He uses as His instruments the pleasant and insightful comments of well-studied Christians. He also uses obedient believers that bring to life the pages of Scripture.

Friend, lets offer the hope of Jesus Christ confidently to this world!

Confident in Christ,

Dr. Tim Pollock, Senior Pastor
