Hope is Here!

O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. Psalm 95:1, 2

Dear Family and Friends,

The excitement of change is in the air. Can you feel it? With a countrywide decrease in COVID-19 cases and mandate changes, people are ready to go places again. I for one could not be more thrilled!

Wouldn’t it be amazing if church were one of the first places everyone reconnected? Nothing is more important in our lives than our relationship with God. The God of the bible is a God who declares that He is worthy of worship.

David was pumping himself up and others to a corporate experience of energetic worship. Notice the words in this Psalm, “O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence…” (Psalm 95:1). Private praise is vital to a vibrant Christian walk but the command and declaration for worship in the Psalms are often corporate. There is nothing quite like hearing scripture and singing songs of praise with a group of God’s redeemed!

Our community is ready to come back to church. Let’s bring them into the one place they can hear about Jesus, grow with others, and discover the True Hope to lift them out of the darkness of this past year.

Christ, Our Glorious Hope!
