True Worshippers

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”

John 4:23

Dear Friends,

After having been in the people business for over 40 years and after speaking with thousands of people during that time on a personal level, I have come to the conclusion that many people have some very unique ideas about what God is like! Too many people invent an image of God to suit their own preferences. To some God is just a symbol of good, to others He is a moral agent but not concerned with the day-to-day details of our life. And for others, God is a “parachute” when life is in a free-fall.

No matter what someone thinks about God, if we want to be a true worshipper we must go to the Word of God. As we read the Bible from cover to cover God unveils to us His character, attributes and desires. While God is a spirit, He is also a real person – a person we can relate to, commune with and love. Jesus explained to the woman at the well in John chapter 4 that God does not limit Himself to one particular locale but is available to all who will come as a true worshipper in spirit and in truth.

God desires to have a personal relationship with you. Those who are true worshippers will connect with Him in a biblical and yet, real way.

Our God is an Awesome God,

Dr. Tim Pollock, Senior Pastor
