Freedom Isn’t Free...Thank you, Veterans!

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”
Psalm 33:12
Dear Friends,
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States when we remember the people who courageously gave their lives while serving our country and protecting our freedom. I, for one, have never been so thankful for these men and women as I am today.
The atrocities leveled against our armed forces over the years has resulted in nearly one million U.S. casualties! We must never let their sacrifice go in vain.
God has certainly favored us by His protection. As we Americans prepare to celebrate this Monday with hot dogs and iced tea it is fitting that we take a moment to say thanks to God for His blessing of protection through these heroes.
We here at The Home Church cannot thank you enough. We are grateful to God for your heroism. We purpose to pray, cast a moral ballot and to work for a better nation. By God’s grace we will continue to fight for the godly principles and Bible-centered interpretation of justice for all, that this country was founded on.
Veterans, With Respect and Deepest Gratitude…We Salute You,
Dr. Tim Pollock, Senior Pastor
