Line Up Your Desires According to God’s Nature and Promises

“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.”

John 16:23

Dear Friends,

It’s impossible to live on this earth as a human and not have needs and desires. Jesus promises to take care of these concerns and goals with one proviso – they must be aligned with the Father’s plan.

God will never act in a manner inconsistent with His character. So by searching the Scriptures, we discover whether our desires line up with God’s nature and promises.

This wonderful verse carries a direct promise and leaves no room for question, "Verily, verily, I say unto you.” In other words, “I pledge my personal guarantee." What more could we want?!

As we ask, based on the merits of the reconciling work of Christ – “In His Name” – God the Father responds definitely in our favor. He alone knows the right action and timing. Dear friend, live in the book of books and keep believing God for great things!
