Delays Aren't Necessarily Dead Ends

“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 3:14
Dear Friends,
As we travel the roads of life, we are sure to go over some bumps, hit potholes and find ourselves enduring delays and detours. But encountering difficulties does not automatically mean we are supposed to change direction.
The Apostle Paul experienced many challenges and setbacks in his ministry, but he didn’t interpret the tragic events as signals to stop, but continued to “press toward” his calling. Certainly, it’s wise to take a step back during difficult seasons and see if maybe we’ve been pushing too hard or we’re really not doing God’s will. But if we are, we should not look at trials as reason to quit, but as opportunities. Delays aren’t necessarily dead ends. As we travel toward God’s best for our lives, keep on keeping on and ask for His grace to be poured out!
Committed to the Cause of Christ,
