StressLESS Living

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

Proverbs 16:3

Dear Friends,

Stress is an everyday occurrence for most American adults. And while many of these “stresses” are necessary (such as a job), still it is not God’s plan for us to live an overwhelmed life full of disquieting care and fear.

According to Solomon, the only way to have our thoughts established is to commit our works to the Lord. The great focus of our heart ought to be that God would get all the glory for our life. In order for that to happen, all of our concerns must be committed to the sovereign and wise God that we serve. Committing our works literally means to transfer the burden of our life to the Lord.

StressLESS living means laying our concerns before God and leaving them there. We then can be comforted with the thought that whatever God does is good by us.

Too Blessed to be Stressed,

Dr. Tim Pollock, Senior Pastor
