An Inheritance of Unsurpassed Riches

“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:”

Ephesians 1:11

Dear Friends,

When we think of getting an inheritance, our mind typically starts dancing with sugarplums at the thought of the money, real estate or some other earthly treasure that we might receive. And to be sure, it is a blessing when one generation is able to pass down some blessing that actually helps (and not hinders) the next generation.

It would be tragic to be the recipient of a large earthly inheritance and yet, live in poverty without even the bare necessities of life, never enjoying that which was given to us. The same is true when you see born again believers living in spiritual poverty because they don’t understand the great inheritance they have. The greatest of which is heaven but there are many other blessings as well such as: power in prayer, success in ministry, strength for the day, insight into the word of God and so much more.

Dear friend, let’s each choose to live boldly, worthy of the incredible inheritance that is laid aside for you.
