The Visible Manifestation of Our Faith

“Yea, a man may say, thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.”

James 2:18

Dear Friends,

At times, we Christians are good at telling others we are believers. But can others SEE that we believe in Jesus? Perhaps the most notable visible characteristic of the Christian life is our faith. When you trust God enough to obey His Word in every area, then your life becomes a living manifestation of Christ.

James said it this way: “I will show you my faith by my works.” Matthew 5:16 tells us to let our light shine for God! When we become children of the Light, His life in us changes not only our character, attitudes, and words – but also our deeds.

While living among men, Jesus performed countless good works. The way He carried them out showed how great the Father’s will is. That should be our goal as well. Friends, let His Word guide your words and works so the Lord will be manifested through you. Let others SEE that you are a child of God!
