There Are Really Just Two Choices

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

John 3:18

Dear Friends,

The greatest question in life is not “Who will I marry?” or “What will my career choice be?” or “Should we have children or not?” or “Should I be a vegan or meat-eater?” :) No, the biggest question in life, undeniably, is “What will I do with Jesus Christ?” According to John the beloved we are faced with really just two choices about this matter: believe Christ or reject Him.

Rejection (not good) results in judgment and eternal separation from God. Accepting Christ leads to eternal life in heaven with God! Jesus is the most important person of all human history and at the same time, He is the most controversial. Just the mention of His name stirs up hatred in some people and incredible love and devotion in others.

Jesus claimed to be the Son of God. Many New Testament characters also stated that Jesus was the Messiah (example: John the Baptist). With these kinds of testimonies, God didn’t leave us with the option of ignoring Jesus. The ultimate question in life is what will you do with Jesus Christ who is God in the flesh?

Friend, if you have never made the decision for Jesus Christ, the best time to do so is now, there’s never a better time than today. By waiting, you run the risk of missing Him.

Made My Choice,

Dr. Tim Pollock, Senior Pastor
