Rescue the Blind
Theme: Evangelism Today we are going to play a game. Have the kids take turns being blindfolded and have them each try to walk across the room without hitting anything. Maybe place other siblings in their path as sort of a mini obstacle course. After you are done, read Proverbs 2:13 and explain how there are many people in the world who “walk in the ways of darkness.” This means they have left the ways of God and are doing things that are ruining their lives but they don’t even realize it because they are “blind.” We need to teach our kids that it is a Christian duty and privilege to share Jesus Christ with a “blind” world. God has removed our blindfold of sin and now we must tell others what Jesus can do for them. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to explain how important evangelism and mission work is to your family.
